We are expanding our Azure Data Platform (ADP) platform team and are looking for a skilled Azure Platform Engineer to help us build the infrastructure and platform enablers required to support our organizational data initiatives. This is an opportunity to drive transformation, enabling our engineering teams to accelerate the delivery of data solutions through platform automation and self-service capabilities.
Vos missions
- · Azure Platform development: Design, implement, and maintain platform features on ADP, ensuring scalability, security, and ease of use for development teams. Set expectations in terms of best-practices and engineering quality for platform users.
- · DevOps initiatives: Contribute to DevOps practices across ADP, including automation, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
- · Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, developers, and product managers to ensure the platform delivers optimal performance and a smooth developer experience.
- · Azure Expertise: Leverage Azure services to build robust, cloud-native infrastructure, while also ensuring integration with Ahold Delhaize’s existing systems.
- · Infrastructure as Code: Manage and evolve infrastructure using Terraform, applying best practices for cloud architecture and deployment.
- · Agile Delivery: Drive Agile practices within the team to ensure continuous improvement and iterative delivery of platform solutions.
- · Data Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to create seamless data workflows and processes, particularly using tools such as Databricks. Help them to reach expectations on best practices set by the platform.
- · Automation & Monitoring: Automate key processes across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, enhancing platform resilience and reducing operational overhead.
Profil recherché
- · Technical Expertise: Proficient in Azure services and Terraform. Strong experience with Databricks, Python, and Git (GitHub and GitHub Actions).
- · Platform Engineering: Proven ability to design and implement platform features that improve developer productivity and facilitate self-service.
- · DevOps & Agile: Strong understanding of DevOps practices, continuous delivery pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- · Azure Data Platform: Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on data processing, analytics, and networking in a cloud environment.
- · Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working across teams to align platform objectives with business goals.
- · Problem Solving: Proactive and able to resolve complex technical challenges related to cloud infrastructure, scalability, and automation.
